So back in February I had the great idea. I would join in the Facebook quilt sampler that was all the rage. It's been fun, and I must say I'm enjoying sewing the little 6.5" blocks, or I was until I had ANOTHER great idea!!!
Man, I'm on a roll this year with ideas. This one was to take "Nina" my sewing machine to have a nice sewing machine spa retreat and get the works done. You know oiled, a mani pedi for sewing machines... NOTHING to good for this machine! So I dropped her off, feeling like I was leaving my child (if I had been blessed with them) on a door step and leaving. This was hard let me tell you! But I did it, after all I had a machine I had been to scared to learn all it's wonderful bells and whistles and this by George was the time!
I get home and move the monster to my table, I turn it on, I touch the screen.... nothing... not a beep not a peep out of it. It would sew straight, but nothing else. So now that one is in the shop because something is wrong. The screen shouldn't been frozen. And what normally would have taken a day is taking a week because its Quilt Week in Lancaster.
There are days I feel like Eore...
